The Hoheneck Complex (2019), crossmedia

150 years ago, a castle in the Erzgebirge mountains, whose roots go back to the Middle Ages, was converted into a prison. When many decades later in this part of the country a socialist state was established, thousands of prisoners landed here, whom this state had declared to be its enemies. They were all women. The secret service and the judicial authorities locked them up with murderers and other criminals. Officially, they were to be educated. Secretly, however, they were forced to work. They were to bring millions to the country that had condemned them as traitors.

This – is their story!
